If you found me after watching FOX 9 Good Day, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
I had the chance to return to FOX 9 Good Day to share three Halloween projects that are fun, affordable and easy to customize for your own home.
Below you’ll find all three projects from the segment. I’ve created a separate tutorial for each one so you can find the full supply list, step-by-step instructions and all the details we didn’t have time to cover on TV.
Doily and Lace Ghosts

These little ghosts are made using vintage doilies and lace, giving them a more whimsical look than your typical Halloween decorations.
They’re a fun way to use old linens you may already have tucked away, or inexpensive pieces you find while thrifting. No two ghosts need to look exactly alike, which is part of the charm.

Dollar Tree Stacking Pumpkin Centerpiece

This centerpiece starts with one of Dollar Tree’s three-stack pumpkin sets, which makes the basic shape of the project ridiculously easy. From there, it’s all about transforming that inexpensive piece into something that looks completely different from what came off the store shelf.

Witch’s Hat Centerpiece

A witch’s hat makes the perfect starting point for a Halloween centerpiece.
This project takes a simple hat and turns it into something you can display on a table, buffet or mantel. You can customize the decorations, colors and embellishments to make it as spooky, whimsical or dramatic as you want.

Thanks for Visiting From FOX 9 Good Day
One of my favorite things about being on FOX 9 Good Day is getting to share projects that show decorating your home doesn’t have to mean buying everything new.
Around here, I’m usually finding ways to reuse what I already have, give thrifted pieces another life or turn inexpensive supplies into something completely different.
If you watched the segment and have a question about one of the projects, come find me on Instagram at @peonylanedesigns. Send me a message or leave a comment. I’m always happy to help you troubleshoot a project or figure out how to make an idea work for your home.
And if FOX 9 brought you here for the first time, I hope you’ll stick around. There are plenty more DIY projects, thrifted finds, furniture makeovers and creative ideas waiting for you.
