Big Thrift Haul!
Stay tuned for what’s going to happen to that rocking horse. I need to do something with that for sure. The little wooden books too.
The frame will get a chalk paint finish, but I haven’t decided what color yet.
Those linens look better in the photo than they do in person. They are yellow and stained with rust spots on them and the fabric is torn on the back and edges. They’re going to get the soak (see this post for more info on the soak) and then I think I’m going to replace the backs and make them into pillows again. Though I’m not much of a sewer I can sew a straight line.
Not all of it is for resale thought. The blue thing in the back is going to look pretty on my patio! The purple tin is going to go in my daughter’s bathroom to hold essentials.
Now that we’re in garage sale season there will be more hauls!
