It’s All in the Details

Have you ever heard the saying the beauty is in the details? Of course you have it’s a cliche for a reason. But it’s true.

Take a look at the plain little stool above. There isn’t anything wrong with it. It’s perfectly fine. It’s a little plain though.

I bought it because these little stools sell well for me and I thought I didn’t need to do anything but clean it up a bit. Then the plainness of the cushion started to taunt me, until finally I broke down, found a scrap piece of fabric, and did this:

So much better!

Not bad for a piece of scrap fabric and 10 minutes of work.

I know it will sell this month.
